September Treats :)

September is indeed an epic month even if it's kind of stressful in school! These are some treats that I got for myself! I've been waiting for months to get theses! :)

I finally got my Ipod touch after waiting so long! I was really happy when I bought this and it was cheap! I decided to buy this instead of waiting for the new version! I just really need it for listening to music and watching my videos! haha I super love this! Thanks to my dad for finally giving me money to buys this! This is worth my wait and money! :)

 I've been waiting for this album since I heard Reese & Vica were going to release their first album! This is their first ep called "Crossing Neverland" there are 8 original tracks, all written by Reese & Vica! I super love to listen to this album it's refreshing to listen too!  And of course they have awesome voices too! Totally worth the P150! These are triple chocolate cupcakes by my HS friend Josephine Cabuay! They're yummier than they look! She's an awesome cook and she's going to Italy for OJT before graduating! She also sells other flavors of cupcakes! Her sweet treats are called Baby Cakes the name is so her! haha! It's really super yummy that I only got to eat two and my family ate the rest! :))

It's Crunch Time!

I spent my Saturday at the ALB Ejercito Library! For our favorite subject! Historiography! not hahaha! I was with Gene for the whole day and with Demi but for a short time lang! Was at the library from 9am-4pm! The story of a Humanities student's life!:)) Oh I took some photos with my phone!:))

September So Faaar~

So it's already September and a lot has happened! So much schoolwork and a lot of bonding with my family oh and a few treats to for me which is awesome <3 I miss my friends (HS & UAP)! For my friends in UAP we're all busy with our courses so we don't really spend that much time with each other >_< Anyway just one more month and we're done for this sem! Here are some photos that I took this month!:)

 Finally had the Korean dinner with my family at the new Korean restaurant in eastwood! Super yummy and affordable food! we had like 6-7 dishes for P1,200 >_<

This was our family lunch with Dad's side of the family! Haven't seen these people in forever! We ate at Abe in Serendra! Super yummy food a bit pricey but worth it! Lamb adobo was awesooome! The staff are nice too! :)

I've known Inna (the one who looks super hyper haha!) since grade school but we weren't close back then but I was really fortunate to be classmates with her several times in high school so we became really close! She also became my neighbor when I moved to our new home! Well we're village neighbors actually! I love this girl forever so bubbly, funny, smart and pretty!

Because It's their Day!

So I have A LOT of friends who are celebrating their birthday in September! Today September 8, 2010 two of my closest friends are celebrating their birthdays!

First is Mj Benitez who is one of my awesome friends and fellow Justice League member! She became my classmate in gradeschool and once in high school! She's a talented photographer and is also awesome when it comes to fashion! check out her blog Street Manila which features a lot of awesome outfits of people all around Manila :)

Korean Fried Chicken

When I bond with my Korean friend, Yuri I learn a lot of things from her! One of the most interesting things that she told me about their culture is about the eating of chicken in Korea. If here in the Philippines usually when we order chicken it usually comes with rice in Korea found out that chicken is just a snack to them like chips or something haha! It's a very popular snack there and there would be specific restaurant just for chicken like a chicken bar or something and they don't serve rice with it just different sauces!

My friend says that chicken in Korea is usually consumed as a midnight snack or just when you're hungry and want a snack! She told a me a story that when her family first came here they were shocked as she said that when people buy chicken here it comes with rice unlike in Korea haha but as time passed they got the hang of eating chicken with rice :)) but since there's a chicken restaurant near their house they still order and eat one whole chicken for midnight snack :) 

Next time I'll ask her to bring me to that chicken restaurant since it's near so I can experience and I'll post photos if I get to bring a cameara! HAHA :)

Minato Korean & Japanese Restaurant

Yesterday my Korean friend, Yuri and I had dinner at a Korean restaurant that's located behind my school. Since we haven't seen each other in a while that's why we decided to bond before the week of her finals :)

 Yuri shared her food with me! This is cold noodles! Super yummy even if it was cold!!!

Before going to the restaurant we went to Yuri's house first which was conveniently located behind the school too! I downloaded some shows that she wanted so went to her place first since the restaurant was still closed :) Super fun bonding! I learn so much from her about Korea and of course about other stuff too every time I'm with her :)

Probably the highlight of the night for me was over dinner when she told me about the story about the Korean Missionary who got killed recently since her family was friends with the missionary's family. What was amazing was that even if a Filipino was the one who killed the missionary it seems that they weren't blaming the Filipinos in general for what happened to their fellow Korean which was great to hear since there's been a lot of negativity towards  country these days because of the hostage situation that happened earlier this week. She also said that the family wasn't sad because they know he's in a better place now which is with God. It's just really unfortunate that this happened to visitors from other country especially to a missionary who voluntarily came here to help the people in our country. 

I hope next time situations like this can be avoided so nothing bad happens to anyone anymore may it be to locals or foreigners :)

So a few weeks ago I shared that I bought shoes from this online store in facebook called Cherry Pop this time I bought this cute pink sling bag with a big black bow made of lace :)

 

This is such a super cute bag! Worth the money!:)

Oh and I ordered 2 more items from them

SHINee World~

This blog entry is dedicated to one of my favorite KPOP Idols, SHINee and my new found respect for them! HAHAHA. Last night while surfing the net and trying to do my RM paper the website where I check for updates about them uploaded SHINee's guesting on The Muzit a music show in Korea. 

So what you say? Well nothing really except that their performances were awesoooome! Especially when they sang the English songs flawlessly! Hands down to them because I really liked it and I can't believe they can sing in English fluently even Key whom I know is good in English hahaha it's the first time I heard him rap in straight English not just like one liners from their songs! 

Check out the clips below where they sang I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, I'll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy and Hey Juliet by LMNT which are awesome songs that they gave justice too! >_<

Oh and it's not just about them singing English songs too I am spazzing how talented they really are especially when singing ballads! Hands down to Taemin (second from the left) for getting better and catching up with the older member's who's really good in belting out notes! :) Check out the clip below where they sang the song Quasimodo from their current album which is a very sad song and also a favorite of mine :) 

These boys are really awesome performers! Not only are they good in singing but they're also awesome in dancing and great in variety shows! (San ka pa?) HAHA! I hope they stay in the industry for a long time! I really hope their agency does everything to keep these boys together because it would be a total loss if SHINee disbanded.

Oh and I would like to make a shout out to Mish Umali for spazzing with me when I needed someone to spaz with so late at night/early morning already! Thank you! <3

Senior Year So Far~

Currently I am a Senior at the University of Asia and the Pacific and so far its been okay but stressful because of the workload and even if I only attend school 3x a week it's not enough for the workload given to me HAHAHA LIFE! But it's okay! I'll miss this when I finish school anyway so I might as well "enjoy" while I still can :) 

These were the stuff Rbie and I got @ the PBB house hahaha not our proudest day but hey we loooved the PBB teen housemates last summer!

My Pre-birthday visit my friends at Ateneo since I didn't really celebrate my birthday this year like I always do because I wanted it to be different! I just hung out with my HS friends who weren't to busy for me! Some were very sweet that even if they were busy they still went out of class to see me! heehee :> Oh, the cute drawing was given by Mj Benitez who's c'est magnifique haha I love her to death! She's really awesome to click her name to check her personal blog :)

These photos were on the day of my 21st birthday this year! These 3 girls visited me and I really appreciate that and that also made my quiet birthday extra special :)

A week after my birthday the first Forever21 opened here in the Philippines and what luck the mall where it was put up is near my house so I definitely had to be there at the opening! So far this was my first and only time I have been there since I had been busy with school :))

After going to the opening I hung out with Mj Benitez and the very talented Reese Lansangan who I was happy to finally meet (Watch out for her and her friend Vica's album coming out soon!) We really didn't have time to hang out so we just went to Top Shops private sale for a while and then went to Golden Spoon and chatted for a while 'til our rides came :) It was definitely one of the highlights of this year <3

This was the 2nd lunch I had with my new Korean friend Yuri Jung whom I met through my sister and her friend Joyce! I'm really happy to meet her and learn more about Korea from her stories! We made A LOT of kimbap that day which were really yummy and fun to make! :)

During the same week we had a sleepover with her! It was her first sleepover at a Filipino friend's house which was awesome! She said she had fun and liked the food that we prepared for her :)

Then there was the Humanities welcome party for the newbies (a.k.a Juniors) who just started taking majors for our course! It was fun and tiring but totally worth it! I hope the newbies enjoy the party and learned something from us too! :)

This was during one of the days that I didn't have class and my family randomly wanted to eat lunch out and what luck I was free and not busy so I got to go with them! :) These photos were taken when we were about to go home and was waiting for the valet people to bring out car! My dad randomly started to pose for the camera which was very awkward! hahaha love family bondings!

This was during Yuri's 18th birthday dinner! Super yummy Korean food! I love this Korean girl so much! <3

Oooh this was the day my friends and I well some of us was the first time to eat at the newly renovated cafeteria! This definitely is plus point for our school because the old looking caf was really UGH hahaha especially when its raining! hahaha the caf looks classier now even if it's small compared to other school's cafeteria :)

Well so far this has been my senior year! Actually this is not complete because I don't bring my camera that often na that's why I don't have pictures of other days of my senior year but it's okay I keep a mental photo album inside my head (Whut hahaha love it) I'll try to update again soon! So for now enjoy these photos :)
